航空：目前泰宁附近有南昌、武夷山、福州三大进出空港，乘车至泰宁分别需2.5小时、3小时、3.5小时，其中南昌、福州至泰宁全程高速。
铁路：乘火车可至邵武、三明，后乘车1.5小时达泰宁，正在建设中的向（坛）莆（田）快速铁路途经泰宁并设站。
公路：全线贯通的福（州）银（川）高速穿过泰宁，武夷山至泰宁高速正在建设中。

Airline: Three airports, Nanchang, Wuyishan and Fuzhou, are within easy reach. It needs another 2.5, 3 or 3.5 hours respectively to drive to Taining from the three airports. Of them, the motorways, Nanchang to Taining and Fuzhou to Taining, are all expressways.
Railway: The nearest railway stations are Shaowu or Sanming. The stations are both within a 1.5-hour drive. The Xiangtan-Putian high-speed railway is currently under construction and will have a stop at Taining.
Road: Fuzhou to Yinchuan expressway passes through Taining and another expressway from Wuyishan to Taining is currently under construction.
